Moose Suncatcher Red Ted Art

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Paper
  • Paintbrushes and paint (or crayons)
  • Glitter or small beads, or both!
  • Scissors or hole punch for hole punching (optional)
  • String/yarn or a stick for hanging. A paper clip could work too. You can also use ribbon, but it is a little more difficult to tie at the end. If you are going to use ribbon, make sure it is sturdy enough that it won’t get tangled in the wind.

Moose Handprint Craft – Easy Peasy and Fun

  • Then, outline the shape of your moose’s body with the white crayon or paint.
  • Next, use a brown crayon or paint to draw in the shape of your moose’s antlers.
  • Finally, draw on two eyes with black crayons or paint!

Moose Thumbprint Card – Crafty Morning

Materials

  • cardstock or construction paper (for the main body of your moose)
  • green or brown paint and a paintbrush (to make your thumbprint moose)
  • glue stick (for a painted thumbprint moose)

Instructions

Make two small circles for the eyes, and one larger circle for the mouth. Using a pencil, draw hair on either side of their heads and create a tail by drawing lines from their bottom jaw to just above where their legs would be.

This is an optional step but I think it looks great! If you like what you’ve done so far, add some more details to make it look even better!

Toddler Moose Craft – Fantastic Fun & Learning

For this craft, you will need a large paper plate and some construction paper.

Cut the construction paper into shapes—triangles, circles, and squares.

Decorate the paper plate with your child’s favorite colors of paint or markers. Be sure to cover up any part of the plate that isn’t going to be covered by the pieces of construction paper!

Stick on some pieces of cut-out construction paper in random places all over the plate so it looks like tree bark or rock formations. You want them to look very random and not connected at all because moose are never in a hurry!
