7 Outdoor Games List For Children’s

For many parents, the struggles of managing children’s time are real. These seven games can be played by kids between the ages of four and 10 and will help them bond with their siblings or friends – all while getting some much-needed exercise.

Whether you’re looking for a way to get the kids outside or are hoping to spend more time with them this summer, outdoor games are a great option!

Outdoor games come in many different forms and are perfect for those long sunny days. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite games that will keep your kids entertained for hours:

Running Race

To start the running race, you need to make sure that the ground is clear of debris. Make sure that all participants are wearing appropriate shoes and have been briefed on how to run safely.

The starting line is marked with an object (a stick or a stone) and the finishing line is indicated by another object placed on top of it.

The starting line person stands at his or her position and calls out “Ready?” The other participants respond “Set!” The starter then shouts “Go!” The children then run from their position towards their respective finish lines as fast as they can without crossing over into anyone else’s space.

When one child reaches his/her finish line first, he/she can push down on top of it with his hand or foot to indicate victory while others continue racing until everyone has crossed over into their own respective places at some point during the game

Freeze Tag

In this game, each player has a color. The ‘it’ player tries to tag all other players and the last person left is the winner. When someone is tagged,

they must freeze in place until another player touches them or until another person tags them. Players are not allowed to run or touch their own ‘it’ status unless it was done in self-defense (for example: if someone tries to touch you when you’re frozen).

No one can break this rule! The fun part of this game is making sure no one knows who has been tagged so that everyone can tag anyone else without getting caught!

Three-Legged Race

This fun activity is great for kids of all ages, but it can be especially good for older children or even adults. The rules are simple: one person is on each leg of the race. You can play with as many people as you want, but there must be at least two people per team

Each team will line up along a starting line, and then when you say go, they run to a finish line that’s about 20 feet away (the distance depends on how old your kids are). When they get back to where they started from and cross their legs over each other’s bodies so their feet become tangled together in one big knot of limbs! The first team with all four members crossing over the finish line wins!

How To Make It Funner: We recommend having some sort of prize beforehand like candy bars or stickers so that when someone wins they get something special out of it too! This way everyone gets excited rather than just disappointed because they lost again.

Hopscotch

Hopscotch is a game of skill and luck. Players form a square on the ground, then hop through the squares. The winner is determined by who can make it to the end first. Hopscotch can be played with either chalk or stones (stones are used more often).

How To Play

Step 1, Draw a grid on the ground that has 20 boxes across and 10 boxes down. Start at 2 o’clock and go clockwise until you reach 6 o’clock when you start over again going in reverse clockwise back to number 2 again! Make sure there are 4 spaces between each box or else it won’t work properly!

Step 2, Now draw numbers in each box starting with 1 at 12 o’clock then move around clockwise until you get back to number 1 again right before your starting point! You now have your hopscotch board complete with “1” inside box number 12; however, don’t forget about our bonus round!! See below for instructions on making some stones for fun too!

Hide and Seek

Hide and seek is a game of hiding and seeking. It is played by 2 or more people

This game is played in a large open space at night with the help of flashlights. The players take turns hiding while the others count the number they can see, then they hide while someone else counts them down from 10 to 1 before coming out again.

Kick the Can

Kick the Can is a classic game that has been played for generations. It can be played outdoors, but it’s best enjoyed in the dark, on a blacktop or grass field with no obstructions for hiding behind. There are two teams: one team tries to kick the can into the other team’s territory and the other team tries to guard their territory from being invaded.

You will need at least six players (seven or eight would be ideal) and one ball for each team to play this game properly. If you do not have enough children for two teams then just enlarge your playing field so everyone has room to run around in!

The first thing you need is a large open space such as an empty parking lot or an abandoned playground where there are no obstacles that might get in your way while playing this fun outdoor game with your friends. Next up we have our equipment which includes some sort of container filled with paintballs called “tags” used by each player during gameplay so they can mark targets without actually injuring them physically,

finally, there’s also another ball known as “the bomb” which serves as a defensive weapon against invaders trying to sneak past defenses set up by defenders back into safety zones; finally, we also require four posts at each corner of any place where people will be playing Kick The Can (KTC).

Capture the Flag

Capture the flag is a game played by two teams of any number. Each team has a flag and the

objective is to capture the other team’s flag. The game can be played in an open area like a park or backyard, with one team on each side of the field.

These seven games can be played by kids between the ages of four and 10.
