Where To Take My Child For 7 Fun

Where To Take My Child For 7 Fun

As a parent, I know that taking children to fun places is important. Not only does this help them get familiar with the world around them and give them something to look forward to, but it’s also a great way for you to bond as a family.

Luckily, there are plenty of fun spots in the Denver area that you can visit with your kiddo. Below are some of my favorites.

City Park

City Park is a great place to take your children if they are looking for something fun to do. It has many activities, places to shop and eat, and of course plenty of things to see.

There are several different areas in City Park that you should check out with your kids.

These include the Botanic Garden, the Children’s Museum, the Playground Area, and more! Make sure that you spend some time at each one so that your child can enjoy them all equally!

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is a fun place for kids to learn about science, and it has a great collection of exhibits. There are multiple levels so the whole family can enjoy it together.

Kids will enjoy being able to explore the museum at their own pace while learning something new at each exhibit they see. They’ll be excited by some of the interactive displays, as well as some of the areas where they can interact with others in their group or on their own if they choose not to go into one of those spaces.

The museum has lots of areas where kids can play games or do activities related to what they just learned through their exploration (such as playing with magnets). The exhibits teach them something different each time they visit, so there’s lots more than just one trip per day!

Kids will be challenged but also educated when visiting this museum; many times people don’t realize how much knowledge children retain from these kinds of experiences until later years when someone reaches out asking questions about what was learned during childhood times spent on trips like this one…

Butterfly Pavilion

If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with your child, or even if you’re just curious about the world of butterflies and moths, then a visit to the Butterfly Pavilion is a great idea.

The pavilion offers self-guided tours so that visitors can see all the butterflies in their habitats without feeling like they need an expert guide. And even if you don’t have children along on your trip, it will be easy for them to find some information about their favorite insects there.

The butterfly pavilion has more than 1,500 live tropical butterflies from around the world and hundreds of displays that explain how these delicate creatures live and thrive outside their natural habitats.

What’s great about this place is that it’s easy enough for kids–but interesting enough for adults too! You can walk through some exhibits where they will teach you all about life cycles. how they start as eggs.

how caterpillars eat leaves (or whatever food source); what happens when they get ready to pupate; and finally emerge as adults who fly around mating until winter comes again (if needed). No matter what age group visits this place together–it’s sure to inspire everyone!

Downtown Aquarium

Kids will be thrilled to learn about fish and the ocean at this downtown aquarium.

They’ll have a chance to touch sea creatures, watch sharks swim in huge tanks, and even sea turtles up close. In addition to seeing the animals, they can learn all about them by watching videos or listening to a guide tell stories about what it’s like underwater.

When they’re done exploring all of these fascinating exhibits, they can relax with a snack before heading out into the city again!

Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum has many free exhibits and activities. It is open from 10am to 5 pm, and it’s located at 100 West 14th Avenue Parkway in Denver.

The museum hosts a show of art by children every year, so if you’re interested in taking your little Picasso or Matisse there, this is the place for you!

Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park

Sure, you can take your kids to Elitch Gardens for the rides and water slides. But what if you want something more than a roller coaster?

What if you want them to experience all of the things that make up Colorado’s natural beauty, while still having fun? Then this is the place for you!

Here are some of my favorite activities at Elitch Gardens.

  • The carousel
  • The train ride around the park (with an awesome tunnel)
  • Mini golfing (they even have glow-in-the-dark balls!)
  • Log flume ride

Denver Zoo

The Denver Zoo is a great place to go if you want to see animals. It’s fun and educational, too!

The Denver Zoo has over 2,000 animals in its collection of 2,000 creatures. There are many different species at the zoo, including tigers, penguins, and lemurs.

We all love going on field trips together as a family because they’re so much fun—especially when we get to see lots of different types of animals like this!

Kids like these places

There are many places that kids like. Some places that kids like are the park, the beach, the pool, and the zoo. These places are all fun for kids because they can run around and explore.

Kids love.

  • The zoo
  • The aquarium
  • The park
  • The museum
  • The butterfly pavilion

And downtown aquarium

Conclusion

There are many different places to take your child for 7 fun. It all depends on what your child is interested in and what you are looking for in a fun activity. Some great places to take your child for 7 fun include the zoo, an amusement park, the beach, or a museum. Whatever you decide, make sure to spend some quality time with your child and create some lasting memories.
