11 Crocodile Art And Craft For Kids

Crocodile Art And Craft For Kids. Do you want to do some crocodile crafts with your kids? Then why don’t you go through this article today?

You will find here lots of crocodile craft ideas that will surely give your kids a lot of fun. There are lots of crocodiles who live in water and eat animals like fish and birds but there are also lots of other types of crocodiles too which live on land, among the trees, etc.

These animals have been around for over 65 million years! So let’s learn some interesting facts about these awesome creatures!

Salt Dough Crocodile

For this project, you will need.

  • Salt dough (see recipe below)
  • Food coloring of your choice – red and blue are ideal for a crocodile’s skin tone
  • Paintbrushes, 1 for each color of salt dough you use (I used 3 brushes so I could paint the different parts at the same time)
  • A sharp knife to cut out the eyes, teeth, and tongue
  • Cotton swabs or q-tips for applying glue to the nostrils

Crocodile/Alligator Card

  • You will need:
  • Paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors

A picture of a crocodile or alligator (if you don’t have one in your photo library, search for one online and print it out)

Cut out the crocodile/alligator from its background. Then cut out another image, this time of a card that you have chosen to use for your card. Try to get one with some space around it so you can put your animal art on there nicely.

If possible, try not to use any words or designs on the front of the card as these may cover up some parts of your picture and make it hard to see what they are meant to repres. Use glue stick between each layer when putting them together (i.e., glue stick glued onto paper glued onto animal picture). This helps keep everything together nicely!

Toilet Roll Crocodile

  • Toilet rolls
  • Green tissue paper
  • Green paper
  • Green paintbrush

Crocodile Craft From Paper Cups

Use Paper Cups

First, you will need to collect the materials that you would like to use for your craft. A good way to do this is by using paper cups because they are easy to find and inexpensive.

For example, if you go out at night and buy a few drinks at Mcdonald’s or Starbucks, take one cup with you when leaving and use it as a container for your crafting supplies.

  • Paint

You will also want some paint so that your kids can get creative with their crocodile crafts! We recommend using acrylic paints rather than watercolors because they dry faster which means less mess on clothes! *

  •  Glue

Glue has many uses in art projects (and everyday life!) so make sure it’s in stock too! We recommend Elmer’s glue which comes in both liquid form as well as sticks so it’s easy for both toddlers and preschoolers alike! Try getting multiple colors so each child can choose their favorite shade based on how much time they want to spend making these fun crafts together!”

Crocodile Art From Newspapers And Magazines

You can use old magazines and newspapers to make crocodile art and craft. It’s a great way to recycle them, and it’s also fun for your kids! You can use the following ideas to help you.

Crocodile From A Magazine Or Newspaper

Use scissors or a craft knife to cut out shapes from the magazine or newspaper. Glue the pieces onto another piece of paper so that they form an outline of a crocodile’s body.

If you have an adult helping you with this project, they could perhaps print out templates of crocodiles from plastic cards or even cereal boxes onto paper,

Then cut them out with scissors before laminating them so that they don’t get damaged when being handled by children who might tear through cardboard quickly if not careful enough (which is why we recommend using lamination).

Crocodiles made out of crayons

This idea uses crayons as raw materials instead of cutting up magazines into shapes like above; however unlike many other projects below where we talk about recycling old magazines/newspapers into new forms such as jewelry/bracelets etc.

here we are just recycling old crayons because sometimes these things happen without thinking about it first (like waking up one day realizing how much room those old pencils take up in your desk drawer).

Simply choose different colors for each stripe on each side (eastern vs western) until complete satisfaction has been reached!

No need to worry about pieces falling off during assembly since these will stay together thanks to glue which isn’t hard at all since everyone knows how easy it is not only to use glue but also knowing how much time should spend waiting until everything dries properly before handling again after applying any kind material onto something else such as paperclips etcetera…

Collage Crocodile From Pasta Shells And Pipe Cleaners

Use pasta shells to make the crocodile’s body.

Use pipe cleaners to make the crocodile’s legs, tail, and head. You can also use a different material like feathers or yarn for these parts of your craft project if you want it to be extra colorful!

Use pipe cleaners to make the mouth of your croc. If you are using other materials such as yarn or feathers, then use them here too!

Fingerprint Crocodile Craft

If you want to make a crocodile out of your fingerprints, then this is the right project for you.

This craft can be made using different colors and textures. The size of the crocodile can be varied depending on how many children are participating in making it.

The number of colors used depends on each child’s preference and imagination. You could use paints or markers with different color combinations in order to make an interesting-looking crocodile craft. To do this activity with your child, follow these steps:

The Hungry Crocodile Craft With Handprints And Footprints

Print out the PDF on cardstock paper.

Glue or paint your child’s handprints and footprints onto the paper to make a crocodile face, and let dry overnight (or longer).

Hang up on your wall!

Crocodile Stick Puppet Craft Idea

You will need..

A piece of paper

  • Scissors
  • Pipe cleaners (the thicker, the better)

Cut out a crocodile shape from your piece of paper. You can use any template or shape you like as long as it’s big enough for your child to manipulate easily with their hands. You could also draw out something simple at home first and then photocopy that!

Cut two pieces of pipe cleaner: one should be about an inch long, and the other should have a bend in it so that it curves over the top of your crocodile’s head when bent back on itself. These will be used for holding up your puppet’s eyes, nose, and mouth later on!

Toilet Roll Crocodiles With Green Tissue Paper

Materials.

  • Toilet rolls
  • Green tissue paper
  • Glue gun and glue sticks
  • Scissors for cutting the tissue paper (adult use only)

Crocodile template (downloadable below) OR draw your own crocodile shapes, reusing them to make as many different animals as you like. With adult help, kids can trace their hands onto a piece of cardboard and cut out their own template.

You can also print out this page as a full-size sheet or download our printable PDF version here.

Pipe Cleaner Crocodiles And Alligators

If you want to make a crocodile, start with two green pipe cleaners.

Bend one into a “V” shape, and then make it into the body of your crocodile by attaching the other end of that pipe cleaner to the first with tape or hot glue (you’ll need to cut off any excess).

Use another green pipe cleaner for the tail.

For An Alligator

use two blue pipe cleaners; bend one into a “U” shape, and then make it into the body of your alligator by attaching its ends together in the back with tape or hot glue (again, cut off any excess). Use another blue pipe cleaner for the tail.

If you’d like to make a puffer fish instead—and who wouldn’t?—use three red pipe cleaners: bend two at each end into hooks and attach them together at their middle points with tape or hot glue (again cutting off any excess). Attach one remaining red hook horizontally across these hooks as shown below!

Let Your Kids Have Fun With These Crocodile Crafts

These ideas will keep your kids entertained for hours. They’re easy to make and they are great for kids. You can use them as decorations around the house or you can use them to teach your child about biology.

  • Crocodile Crafts

This is a very simple craft that will take you less than an hour to complete even if you have never done anything like it before! The materials needed are green paper, googly eyes, glue, scissors, and construction paper (optional).

All you need to do is cut out two body parts from green paper then glue one of them onto the other piece of paper so that they overlap each other before attaching them together with googly eyes on top of these sections using white glue. If possible cut out another part of this same size but this time with teeth coming out from both sides instead;

Attach it onto where hands would be placed inside these pieces by using yellow colored pencils instead which should stick well enough without needing any additional adhesive spray (unless necessary). The final step involves coloring some sort of pattern onto each section

Conclusion

If you’re looking for some fun crocodile crafts, we hope our list has given you some inspiration. There are so many different ways that your child can get involved in these activities, whether they want to make something simple or really creative. We know that there are plenty of other great ideas out there too, but these are just some ideas to get you started!
