  • Paper clip, paper towel, and pencil for adding details like hair or scales

Zebra Crossing Craft Idea for Kids

This zebra crossing craft is a fun way for kids to learn about traffic signs.

It’s also a great activity for the classroom or at home, since it requires very few materials and can be completed in just minutes.

You’ll need:

  • Black and white paper (or use colored construction paper)
  • String or ribbon of your choice (you could also use yarn or twine)

To make this craft, you’ll first need to cut out a zebra shape from black and white paper. You can freehand draw the outline yourself or print out our template here and trace around it onto your pieces of paper before cutting them out.

You may want to laminate these shapes if they’re going into preschoolers’ hands since they will get dirty from all that fingerpainting!

Once you’ve got your zebra cutout ready, then attach one end of string/ribbon onto either side of the nose area with hot glue or super glue so that it forms an X over its forehead when stretched across there—this will serve as our crossing sign!

Leopard Toilet Paper Roll Craft Idea for Kids!

The first step is to use a toilet paper roll to make a leopard. For this craft, we will be using glue and markers to draw spots on the toilet paper roll.

Next, cut out a leopard face from a piece of construction paper or cardstock. You can use your free hand to do this or trace it with your pencil first! After you cut the face out, stick it onto the end of your toilet paper roll craft (which should still be flat), making sure that it is centered so that when you roll up your finished product later it will look good!

Now let’s add eyes and a nose for our animal craft project! Use a black permanent marker or crayon (or both!) to draw these on top of where they belong as shown above in green lines – don’t worry if they’re not perfect because we’ll fix them later! You can also draw some whiskers coming off both sides if you’d like to)

If using crayons instead of sharpies make sure not to press hard so as not to break off any pieces inside; also try wiping away any excess before pasting down onto the surface since wax could leave marks over time especially if used frequently – remember kids’ room toys get Lotsa love)

Lion Cardboard Tube Craft Idea for Kids!

Materials needed A cardboard tube from a paper towel roll or toilet paper roll. You can also buy a new one if you don’t have one already!

Scissors (optional)

Paper for the mane and tail on your lion, crayons (if you want to draw it), paint, glue stick/glue gun, markers (if you want to color in the face), construction paper cut into shapes for eyes, nose, and mouth.

Using your scissors or a knife carefully cut out these pieces: mane (the top part), ears (the bottom parts under that), and feet/claws are optional but fun!.

If you want legs then cut them out at the bottom of the tube too! Now let’s glue those onto our lion!

Then add some details like eyebrows or whiskers by using a marker or crayon pencils if we don’t have any other options available yet because this project is going pretty well so far isn’t it?

Sweet Little Foxy Friend! Craft idea for kids!

Materials

  • Cardboard tube (use a cereal box)
  • Brown marker
  • White paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Brown paint and paintbrush (for ears)
  • White paint and paintbrush (for face, mouth, and eyes)

Tape & craft a knife for cutting out the foxes’ mouths, eyes, and tails.

You can also draw these features with markers if you don’t want to cut them out by hand. You could use stickers as well! They’re really easy to apply using just some double-sided tape or a glue stick )

You’ll also need felt for the tail tip, ears and tongue – just cut out rectangles of different sizes depending on what part you’re making. Then add your embellishments like feathers or beads or sequins etc., whatever takes your fancy!
