7 Crab Craft For Kids

Crab crafts for kids can be a fun and easy way to spend an afternoon.

All you need is some paper, scissors, and glue, and you can make some really cool crab crafts.

There are loads of different crab crafts to choose from, so you can make whatever you want. You can even make a whole bunch of them and have a crab party.

Paper Plate Crab

Materials needed

  • Paper plate
  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue (or if you’re feeling extra crafty, you can use modeling clay)

How to make

Draw a crab on the paper plate. The legs should be spaced out evenly, and they should come to sharp points at the bottom of the plate. You can also draw eyes on it if you want!

Cut out your crab shape and glue googly eyes on so that they pop out towards whoever sees them! You can even cut out little legs for him too if you want him to be more active in his environment than just sitting around on top of a wall waiting for someone else’s attention all day long…

Cupcake Liner Crab

So if you’re looking for a unique craft that can be added to your child’s cupcake liner collection, then this crab is just the thing!

The best part about this crab craft is that it doesn’t require any fancy materials or equipment. All you need are some colorful construction paper, glue, and a few other basic supplies.

And if your kids want to make their own cabbies? They can easily do so with our step-by-step instructions below! Have fun!

Cardboard Roll Crab

You will need a cardboard roll, glue, and markers. Cut the roll into the shape of a crab.

Glue on eyes, mouth, and antennae.

Use markers to add color. You can make more than one or have them for a whole family of crabs!

Pom Pom Crab

You will need. Paper plates in different colors. You can choose simple colors or a combination of multiple colors.

Pom poms in various sizes and colors. For this craft, you can use pom poms that have been cut into halves or quarters because they are easier to hold than full-sized ones. If you do not have pom-poms, small pieces of yarn or string would also work well!

Paint and paintbrush (optional). You can decorate your crabs with different colors after they are assembled if you want them to stand out more.

How To Make It.

Cut the paper plate into an oval shape using scissors so that it forms two curved edges on each side (one large end piece and one small end piece). The oval should be about as wide as it is tall;

however, if you find yourself with extra material at the bottom of the oval then trim off any excess so that only two curved edges remain from your original paper plate shape instead of three straight sides plus two corners where there has been no cutting done yet – this way everything stays balanced on top without falling over easily!

Sponge Painted Crab

Use a sponge to paint the crab’s body and legs with blue paint. Don’t worry about getting it perfect—just have fun!

Use a sponge to paint the rest of the background with blue paint, including all four walls and the floor of your area (you may need multiple sponges).

Once this has dried completely, use some white paint on another sponge or brush and put a few dots in each corner at varying sizes—these will be bubbles coming out of their mouths!

On another sponge or brush, place two eyes near the top edge on each side of one corner but not far enough away that they would touch any other bubbles if they were floating upwards (it doesn’t matter if they’re slightly smaller than real eyes because crabs don’t have pupils). To make them look more like crabs’

actual eye placement on their heads instead of just being placed randomly somewhere else in space, try placing them about halfway between where ears would normally go for humans since those would be closer together than our eyes are.)

Then add two small black dots inside each eye socket; this will help make sure everyone knows where these little guys are looking at all times even when facing sideways!

Toilet Paper Roll Crab

Toilet paper roll crabs are a great way to help kids learn about the animal’s habitat. With this craft, they’ll be able to see what it looks like in their habitat and make one of their own.

Toilet Paper Roll Crab Instructions.

  • Cut a hole in the center of your toilet paper roll with a pen or pencil, then cut off ends you can use later on (you only need one side).
  • Cut slits into the outer layer of your toilet paper roll at angles all around it; these will serve as legs for your crab!
  • Draw eyes and mouth onto a piece of paper; cut out, but don’t attach yet!
  • Attach eyes and mouth onto your cardboard crab using hot glue or tape

Tissue Paper Crab

Tissue paper is cheap and easy to find, and it’s also a great material for making art. This craft is perfect for kids who love to make things with their hands!

Tissue paper crabs are the perfect summer activity for children around the age of five or six.

They can be made at home, or you might want to bring them out on those days when it’s too hot to be inside (or if you need something fun for the car ride home).
