7 Outdoor Games For 4-Year-Old

There are many outdoor games that are perfect for 4-year-old boys. Some of these games include tag, hide and seek, hopscotch, and much more.

All of these games are great ways to get your child active and involved in physical activity. They are also great ways to teach your child about cooperation and teamwork.

Water Balloons

Water Balloons: This game is a classic, and kids love it. What you’ll need.a pin or something sharp to pop the balloons with

How to play: Fill the balloons with water and set them on the ground, in a row at least 6 feet away from any obstacles (like trees or fences). Then, have your child stand about 20 feet away from all of them. Tell him that he has 2 minutes to pop as many balloons as he can. If one pops in his face or lands on his head, he’s out! Have some sort of prize for whoever gets the most points (or wins).

Safety precautions: Make sure nobody runs too close to each other while playing this game—it’s easy for someone who isn’t paying attention could get hit by an errant balloon! Also, give each child their own water gun so they don’t accidentally get sprayed in the face by another kid while they’re trying not to get popped themselves!

Rules: For younger kids who aren’t great at keeping track yet (or even those who are!), use some kind of markers like chalk or tape so everyone knows where their line begins and ends before starting up again after each round starts over again until everyone gets tired enough that we won’t be able to finish a whole game without giving everybody else time off 🙂 You’ll probably want someone there just in case somebody sprains something bad enough that they can’t keep going anymore… but otherwise if everybody is okay then go ahead!”

Hopscotch

As a parent, you are probably looking for the perfect toy or game for your four-year-old boy. I get it, I have a four-year-old boy myself! He loves to play outdoors so I put together this list of seven games for a four-year-old boy that is sure to make them happy.

Hopscotch is a classic game that can be played by any age, but it’s especially fun for kids as young as 4. The rules are simple: hop over each square in turn, and you’re done! Here’s how to play.

Set up the hopscotch squares with chalk or tape on the ground (or other surfaces of your choosing). You’ll need at least 2 sets of 5 squares. If you’re playing on grass or sand, make sure they are well swept clean first so that there aren’t any hidden rocks or clumps of dirt lurking around!

Pick up one foot and place it in front of another square on the board; then jump over it without putting your other foot down between jumps – now go back to where you started. Repeat until all 25 squares have been jumped over once each.

Catch the Frog

Catch the Frog is a great game for kids that require a large space and an easy-to-catch frog or ball. This game involves one child who tosses the frog into the air, while another child tries to catch it in his/her hand before it hits the ground. It’s best if you have a larger area to play this game in so that there is plenty of room for your child to run around and catch their target. If you don’t have enough space, then try using a small ball instead of a frog!

Balloon Tag

Balloon tag is another one of those game that can be played with a large group of children.

The main idea is that each child has a balloon, and they run around trying to tag other players (who are also carrying balloons). The last person left without a balloon wins.

This game works well for 4-year-old children because it encourages them to move around quickly, which helps develop gross motor skills. It’s also fun because catching another player in the act of trying to pop your balloon makes them laugh!

Balloon Ball

Balloon Ball is a fun game for 4-year-olds. Players stand on their knees, facing each other with their elbows bent and hands in front of them. Each player blows up an inflated balloon, then tosses it to the other player.

The goal is to catch the balloon without dropping it before it pops. If you drop your balloon or let it pop, then you lose! You can play this game outside if you have enough space and enough balloons (at least two).

If you want to make Balloon Ball even more interesting and challenging, try using different sizes and colors of balloons! It will be easier for younger children if they use smaller balloons; older kids may want larger ones so they can practice throwing harder with greater distance between themselves and their opponent(s).

I Spy Game

I Spy is a great game for kids of all ages. It’s a great way to get kids to look around and find things, use their imagination, and interact with each other.

It’s easy to play.

  • Pick an object in the room (i.e. couch).
  • Say “I spy something that’s blue”. Now everyone has 30 seconds to find something that matches your description before you say “stop.” If they do it before then, then give them a point! Then continue playing until someone reaches 5 points first!

These games are always fun for a four-year-old boy.
