7 Soap Craft For Kids

7 Soap Craft For Kids

As a parent, you’ve got plenty of things to keep an eye on.

You don’t want to miss any details because it could be the difference between your kid having fun or getting hurt.

That’s why we’ve put together this list of soap crafts for kids; they will provide hours of fun while keeping your kids safe!

Soap Painting

Soap painting is a great way to get kids interested in painting, and even better, it’s completely mess-free! There are many types of paint that work well with soap.

One option is acrylic paint thinned with water.

Another option is tempera paint, which will give your finished soaps a bit of a matte finish. If you have older children who want to help create their own soap art project, this is also an excellent choice for them because it’s easy enough for them to do on their own without having too much trouble getting the right consistency with their paints.

One warning I would give before starting your project: make sure you don’t use any type of oil-based or high-viscosity paints because they can actually melt your soap when they’re applied!

Soap Rocks

Soap rocks are easy to make and can be made with any color or shape of soap.

You can choose to use any type of container, but I think that a small box is the best way to go. You can also choose to use any kind of mold, so this project isn’t limited by what you have on hand!

Of course, the most important part is picking out your favorite soap scent. There are lots of great scents out there—from peppermint to lavender!

Soap Boats

This craft is great for summertime and bathtime.

It’s also a good way to use up leftover soap, which is always a plus in my book!

Soap flowers

What you will need is Soap of your choice, preferably with a scent that is mild and not overpowering.

A mold, either homemade or purchased at the craft store. While molds can be made out of just about anything—including aluminum foil and plastic containers—they are usually made of silicone (the kind used to make kitchenware).

Any craft store should have these in various shapes and sizes. Mold prices vary, but they are typically under $10 USD per mold. You can also find DIY tutorials on how to make your own molds on YouTube!

Plastic wrap/cling film: This option is optional if you want to keep your soap from sticking to the sides of your mold until it’s ready to unmold; however, it’s not necessary if yours doesn’t stick too much on its own (like mine does). If this is the case for you then skip this step!

Soap Cities

Make your own soap city. What you need. Soap, food coloring, and water.

How to do it: Mix about 2/3 of the soap with 1/3 water in a bowl and stir until it forms a thick paste (it will look like frosting). Add drops of food coloring until you get the shade you want. If you’re feeling fancy, add glitter after mixing so it looks like snow!

Once your mixture is ready, grab some cookie cutters or shape molds from around the house or craft store and make shapes out of your moisturizing recipe! You can use anything from hearts to stars to shamrocks for St.

Patrick’s Day fun! Chill overnight before removing from molds and storing in an airtight container—which just happens to double as a bath toy!

The next day when they have solidified again (you may have noticed that most homemade soaps take longer than store-bought ones), get creative with how many layers you stack on top of each other before adding another layer below them using smaller pieces that fit inside each hole created by cutting out larger pieces first!

What will kids learn? They’ll discover how important it is not just having great ideas but also being patient enough while waiting for ideas to come together into something tangible–even though at times this might seem boring.”
