What Is Playing Tag

Tag is an easy-to-learn game that’s popular with kids and adults alike. If you’re new to the game, getting started is simple.

just grab a few friends and prepare to run around! There are dozens of variations on the tag, but the basic idea behind all of them is that one player has to “tag” or “catch” the other players by touching them in some way. It’s a bit like hide and seeks—except everyone can move around!

Running Around

Running around is another way to play tag. In this example, you are running around the playground, house, and neighborhood.

In this example, you are also running around the block.

You can also run around a field or park. You could even run along a track or beach!

Chasing people

When you’re playing tag, you’ll need to chase and tag other players. Your goal is to be the last remaining player untagged; that’s why it’s called “tag” and not “untag.”

Let’s say you’ve been tagged by another player—you can’t tag them back in return. You could run away from them for a little while, but eventually, they’ll catch up with you again, and then it really is game over!

Getting Caught

If you’re “it,” then your goal is to tag someone else with a hand, leg or any part of your body. Once you’ve tagged someone else and they accept that they are now it

(by saying or shouting, “I’m it!”), the person who was originally tagged becomes free from being “it.”

The person who is currently “it” can also be called by their name in order to make them become “it.” However, if a player has been caught by another player who has already been declared as being not-it, they cannot be tagged again until someone else has been declared as being not-it again.

Being “it”

You are “it” when you are tagged. To tag someone, touch them with your hands, body or an object. You can also use a weapon to tag someone.

Tag Is A Popular Game Of Chase That’s Easy To Setup

Whether played outside or indoors, the game of tag is a simple one. It can be played with as few as two people and as many as you like, though the more players there are the more chaotic it becomes.

To begin with, designate an area where everyone will be playing. This may be your backyard or school playground—anything that gives ample room for running around!

Next comes determining how long each person has to run away before being tagged by another player. If this sounds confusing right now, don’t worry! The most common way of doing this is simply counting down from ten (or whatever number works best) until someone touches someone else and says “Tag.”

Finally comes picking teams usually, it’s best if there’s an even number of people so that neither team has an advantage over another one in terms of numbers or speed

Tag is one of the most popular games out there, and it’s easy to see why! It’s super fun and doesn’t take much equipment or organization. By following these simple rules, you’ll have an idea of how the tag works if you’re ever invited to join in on a game. Remember to stay safe while playing so everyone has fun!
