Paper Plate Easter Bunny Ears
Make a paper plate Easter bunny headband by drawing two bunny ears on a paper plate.
Use markers to draw the ears, or you can use paint or crayons.
Glue the ears to the headband, hair clip, or paper clip (or any other object that will fit in your child’s ear).
Glittery Gold Heart Earrings

Cartoon Easter Bunny Ears – Easter Craft for Kids

- Scissors
- Paper or cardstock (thin cardboard)
- A pencil or pen for tracing shapes onto the paper/cardboard
- Craft glue (or hot glue gun and glue sticks)
Make a Beginner-Friendly Origami Bunny Ear Bookmark
What You’ll Need. A small piece of paper (like an index card or square scrap)
Scissors or craft knives, if you’re using one that can cut through paper cleanly. If your scissors are dull, you may want to use a craft knife instead—it’ll be easier than trying to get the job done with dull scissors.
Tape or glue stick, if you have one available. We’re going to be attaching these ears onto something else later on in this project and we don’t want them falling off while they’re being transported!
Paper Plate Mouse Headband
To make this craft, you’ll need.
- Paper plate
- Hot glue gun
- Red pom poms (2)
- Scissors
Headband (optional) A regular headband will work just as well as an actual mouse headband. The main thing is to have something on your head to keep the ears in place while they’re drying! If you don’t have one of these handy, no worries—you can use a ribbon or even safety pins to keep the ears in place if necessary.
Just make sure that whatever you use won’t be seen by others when worn! If it’s not clear already, this is a great option for Halloween parties because kids will love wearing them over their eyes until they dry enough so that they can see again without getting poked by stray pieces of paper towel rollers or something else sharp and pointy.

Halloween Cat Ears Headband and Tail Set | Think Crafts by CreateForLess
Clip the headband to your child’s hair and secure it with a bobby pin, if necessary.
Cut out two cat ears using felt or craft foam and glue them to the headband using a hot glue gun, tacking down the edges of each ear so they don’t move around too much. You can use the same technique to attach a tail made from pipe cleaner wire or similar material if desired (see image).
Make sure everything is secure by testing it on your child before completing the costume!

I would recommend this as a craft activity at any party or birthday celebration, but it might be best suited to an occasion where the theme is nature-related.
You could also use this mask in the classroom if you are looking for something fun and new to do with your class on Halloween or another holiday.
