11 Paper Snow Globe Craft For Kids

I love a good snow globe. Unfortunately, they’re not always easy to find, especially if you don’t live in an area with lots of snow.

That’s why I was so excited when my kids decided to make some snow globes themselves! They were able to use their creativity and imagination to create some beautiful paper snow globes that we still enjoy today.

Now that it’s wintertime again, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite ideas for making paper snow globes with you!

1. Paper Snow Globes Are So Easy And Inexpensive To Make!

Making a paper snow globe is a great way to spend time with your kids, family, and friends.

They are inexpensive to make, so everyone can join in on the fun!

2. You Only Need A Few Simple Supplies To Get Started.

Papier mache (you can find this at craft stores)

  • Water

Glue/glue stick (to glue the paper to the globe, and any other small pieces you want to add)

  • Craft paper, scissors, and tape (for decoration)

3. These Snow Globes Make Great Gifts And Decorations!

These snow globes are also great for decorating a party or other celebration.

Bring these along to your next Christmas party, birthday party, or even just because you want to celebrate something with friends and family. They can be used as decorations or gifts!

4. Kids Will Love Making Their Own Snow Globes!

No matter what your child’s interests are, snow globes are a great way for kids to use their creativity in making their own creations.

Kids will love the process of creating their own snow globe, watching it snow inside the glass ball, and then placing it on a table for everyone else to see.

5. Adults Will Enjoy Making Snow Globes Too!

It’s not just for kids. Adults will also enjoy making snow globes, as they can use their creativity to make fun and unique snow globes.

Snow globes are also a great craft for you if you’re looking to up your Instagram game or impress someone with your craftsmanship skills.

Adult snow globe makers can make snow globes that are more complex than those made by kids, adding multiple layers of paper and other materials to create a multicolored design.

6. You Can Use Any Type Of Paper To Make Your Snow Globes.

You can use any type of paper to make your snow globes. Tissue paper, scrapbook paper, or even newspaper will look great.

You can use a variety of colors and patterns to create a beautiful scene for your globe. If you want to recycle your old papers, that’s fine too! You could try using an old Christmas card or wrapping paper for inspiration. And if you’re crafty enough, don’t forget about printing out special designs on the computer.

You may also decide to go with different sizes of paper: if you have small pieces of vintage book pages that would look better folded into small cubes than cut into squares then follow suit!

This may not seem like much but it makes all the difference when creating something unique just for fun during wintertime holidays like Christmas time (or any other occasion).

7. Get Creative And Have Fun With Your Snow Globes!

Once you’ve completed your snow globe craft, you can really get creative with it. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Use different types of paper. If your first snow globe doesn’t turn out exactly the way you want it to, don’t worry! You can always try again with different kinds of paper (different colors or patterns).

Use different types of glue. Liquid glue dries faster than paste, which allows more time for decorating before attaching the lid to the jar.

However, liquid glues may not hold as well as a paste when going through an airtight seal so be sure that whatever combination works best will still maintain its integrity throughout each use.

Use different types of tape/glue/soap solution combos in order to create unique designs such as spirals or dots within bubbles within bubbles. the possibilities are endless!

8. You Can Also Add Small Toys Or Figurines To Your Snow Globes.

If you would like to use paper, here are some ideas on how to make them:

Cut out shapes from construction paper and glue them together to form a doll or animal shape, then paint it if desired.

Roll playdough into balls, flatten and cut into shapes with cookie cutters (you can use a circle or square ones). For example, two circles glued together will make an apple shape!

Make little clay figures by pressing playdough into mini muffin tins so they have feet and arms too!

9. Glue, Tape, Or Stickers Can Be Used To Seal The Snow Globes.

You should use glue to seal small snow globes, tape for medium-sized ones, and stickers for large ones.

Glue is best for small snow globes because it dries quickly and doesn’t require any waiting time before you can hang up your project. It also gives a nice glossy finish to your paper snow globe.

Tape works well with larger snow globes because it’s strong enough to hold the papers together without breaking or wrinkling them too much (which would make them difficult to hang).

And if you want to add some personality or creativity to your project, then using stickers is an excellent way of doing so! It’s easy enough that even younger children can do this part on their own while they wait for the glue/tape to dry on their projects.

10. Be Careful Not To Get Any Water In The Globe When Filling It.

You’ll want to use a funnel, if possible, to fill your globe with water.

Fill the globe slowly and carefully so you don’t spill any water inside it! If you do get any water in there, use a piece of paper towel or tissue paper to absorb it, and make sure there are no puddles visible on the bottom of your globe.

11. Enjoy Your Beautiful And Unique Snow Globes!

Now that you have created these gorgeous snow globes, don’t keep them all to yourself!

Share the joy and beauty of paper snow globe crafts with your friends and family members. They will love the unique craft ideas that you have shared with them.

Don’t forget to take care of your beautiful snow globes! Make sure that they are not damaged or broken by storing them carefully when not in use. Also, make sure that they do not get dirty by cleaning them regularly.
