Toy Story Alien Cupcake Toppers

  • Make the Alien’s Eyes

Cut two circles from black cardstock using a paper punch. Use a craft knife to cut out the center of each circle and then cut out a small triangle-shaped notch to make the pupils, being careful not to go through both sides of your paper. Use another pair of scissors to trim off any excess around your pupil holes so that they are as neat as possible.

  • Make the Alien’s Mouth

Cut two rectangles from yellow cardstock approximately 1/8″ wide by 3″ long (or use a thin yellow ribbon if you’d like). Fold each rectangle in half lengthwise and cut it at an angle on both ends so that one side is shorter than the other (this will create pointy corners). Poke into these points with a toothpick until they’re fairly secure, then use hot glue or Super Glue gel (depending on which one you have) on both sides of your folded piece so that it sticks together securely without moving about too much; this also helps keep its shape when sticking onto your cupcake!

  • Make Antennae for Your Toy Story Aliens

DIY Toy Story Forky

Materials needed

  • A fork
  • Paper plate or small piece of cardboard, cut into an oval shape (approximately 5” long by 3” wide)

How to make.

Place a fork on the paper plate. Use a glue gun to secure it in place if needed. You can also use staples or tape instead of glue if you prefer not to use glue guns; however, this may not be as sturdy as using something like hot glue and might come apart during playtime.

Cut out two small circles from construction paper and hot glue them onto the sides of your fork to represent eyes for Forky! You can also draw on some eyebrows with a black marker if you want!

After everything has dried completely, add Forky’s mouth by making three lines with a pencil crayon at the bottom part of its face (see picture).

Then use scissors or another sharp object such as an Exacto knife (or even just your hands!) to cut along those lines so that they form little triangles pointing toward each other at their peak point shown in the photo above! This allows his mouth area to look much more realistic while still remaining safe enough for kids’ playtime needs 🙂

Toy Story Alien Slime Play Recipe

Alien Slime Play Recipe is inspired by Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 4, In Toy Story 4, the toys find themselves in outer space with a group of friendly aliens.

You can recreate this scene at home by making your own slime inspired by the film. To do so, you’ll need some play dough, water, and food coloring.

You can buy your play dough at any craft store or find it online here. Next, add three teaspoons of water to one packet of playdough and mix thoroughly until it becomes soft and stretchy (if you want more slime than what’s pictured here).

Then add three drops of each color food coloring to make different shades (red/blue makes green). This recipe is easy enough for kids to create without adult supervision! Once they have their desired shade(s), they can go ahead and get playing!

Forky Door Hanger, Toy Story Craft For Kids

This door hanger will make your child feel like they are part of the story. It’s easy to make and a great way for them to show off their creativity.

Materials needed.

Fork, cardboard, marker, stapler, and ribbon

Instructions

Cut out Forky from the template provided with this toy story craft for kids as well as his eye patches using either scissors or an x-acto knife.

You can also use any other template you have on hand that might be more appropriate for your child’s age group if you don’t have one specifically made for this project (buttons would be good!).

Color Forky using markers then attach him to the cardboard using staples or glue so that he stands upright when placed on your door (or wherever else you decide). You can also add eyes like in our example here but you may want to wait until after Step 3 so that they do not get covered up by the lettering later on! If desired,

color another piece of cardboard black then cut out 2 circles large enough so that they cover up all but one eyehole in each of them; adhere these behind each other onto another piece of cardboard long enough so that when folded over twice it covers half of their face (this will create 4 layers total).

Then cut out two small rectangles from black cardstock big enough so when taped together at both ends created a little triangle shape which should fit perfectly between both eyes without obscuring much vision; place them on top of each circle masking off even more vision than before until only about 1/4″ remains uncovered at most

Forky Gift Tag, Toy Story Craft For Kids

Materials

  • White paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or tape (not optional)

Instructions

Fold the paper in half, lengthwise. Then fold it again in half the other way so you have a crease to follow when you cut out your Forky face.

Cut out both of them with the same corners but use different templates for each one so that there’s no confusion about which is which when you go back to make your arms and legs later on as we’ll show you next!

You can use any template that suits your fancy but here are some free printable ones if you don’t feel like making your own from scratch!

Now take one of those pieces and put glue at four points inside its boundaries: two on either side of where his mouth should be and two more along his neckline just above where his ears will end up once they are folded over onto themselves (you may find that this step involves folding). For reference’s sake let me point out how these lines look when drawn on paper using pencil lines instead of being made with actual glue)
