This is one of my favorite paper plate crafts ever! It’s so easy to make and it looks so cute hanging in your home even after the summer months have ended. This would be perfect for preschoolers, kindergartners, and elementary school students who enjoy arts and crafts time at school too!

Start by gathering the materials you need.

Take a look at the instructions and follow them carefully.

Make sure you have the right materials before you start. The instructions should tell you how much time it will take to complete the project.

Spring Shower Printable Craft

This craft is a great rainy day activity for children. It’s also a fun way to get your kids involved in spring activities since this craft uses watercolor paints and cotton swabs.

The Spring Shower Printable Craft makes use of the book, “Spring Showers,” by Ann Whitford Paul.

First, find the PDF file on your computer that you downloaded from the Internet. Open up Adobe Acrobat Reader software if it isn’t already open (it should be installed on any PC).

Then, open up the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat Reader and print out both pages onto cardstock paper using regular inkjet printer settings.

Colorful Umbrella Craft

This is a colorful umbrella craft for kids. You can use any colors you want and as many or few as you like!

Use paint, markers, crayons, colored pencils—whatever will make your umbrella stand out! If you want to make it even more interesting, try different sizes of paper plates.

That way, when the wind blows your umbrella around in the air, everyone will notice its bright colors!

Glue stick. You can use any color or size you like! I used a 2-inch glue stick because that’s what we had on hand at the time, but you could also use a larger or smaller one depending on your preference.

Hole punch (optional). This is not necessary if you decide to use the smaller glue sticks or regular office supplies instead of the hole punch method.

However, if you do end up using one of these items then I suggest purchasing some sort of paper cutter before making this craft with your kids so that they don’t risk cutting themselves while punching holes into their umbrellas!

Paper Cup Umbrella Craft

Paper cup umbrellas are a great craft for kids. They will love the way they look and the fun they can have with them.
