Beach Craft For Kids

I know you’re probably off enjoying the beach right now, but I just couldn’t wait to share this list of the cutest craft projects that you can do with the kids once you get back home!

If you’re bringing home some sand and seashells, you can use them to make a fantastic memento of your beach trip. From photo frames to banners and signs,

these projects are sure to be a hit—and they’ll look great in your vacation house. Please let me know how it goes when you give them a try!

Beach Family Pictures

Take a photo of the family on the beach.

Print out the photo.

Decorate it with stickers, crayons, markers, or any other art supplies you have available.

Hang it in your house as a reminder of your fun day at the beach!

Beach Sun Catcher Craft

Materials needed.

Instructions.

Fold your tissue paper into a wedge shape, then unfold it and lay it flat on the table. If you have large pieces of tissue paper, cut them into smaller pieces with scissors so that they’re easier to work with.

Lay out your materials in front of you so that they’re all easily reachable, then put glue on one side of each piece (or tape) and stick it onto the center of your folded tissue paper so that it forms a ring around the middle of your piece. Repeat until all sides are covered with tissue paper strips!

Let dry for about an hour before hanging up outside in direct sunlight (or near a window if there isn’t enough natural light).

Flip Flop Memories

Flip Flop Necklace – Strips of flip flops can be used to make a necklace by stringing them together through the holes in the sole, or you can glue them down and then staple them around your neck.

This is a great way to save old flip-flops, and it’s an easy way for kids to make something that they can wear with pride!

Flip Flop Bracelet – You can use several strips of flip flop material to make a bracelet by gluing or sewing them together into one long strip. To add flair, you could sew on beads or buttons along with ribbon at each end so that it looks like you’re wearing actual jewelry!

Flip Flop Keychain – If your child wants their own keychain but doesn’t have any keys yet, this is another simple craft idea where they can use up all those leftover pieces from their previous projects (and if not…you’ll probably end up losing some anyway).

Just poke holes through one side and tie off on the other side using scrap yarn or thread–then attach whatever little trinkets he wants (such as coins). It will serve as both decorations for a backpack/handbag and also as a functional item when needed! Dry erase marker serves as perfect pen substitute; works best if placed under a layer of fabric first.”

Beach Banner and Sign

If you have a beach banner,

use that to make a beach sign. Or if you have a beach sign, use that to make a beach banner.

The possibilities are endless!

Beach Photo Frame

To make this beach photo frame, you will need.

  • A piece of wood (I used a 1×3)
  • Sandpaper or a sanding block (to create smooth edges)
  • An X-Acto knife or box cutter to trim the excess around the frame after cutting it out. This is optional if your photo frame is small enough to fit in your hand without having to be trimmed at all. It just helps if you’re making multiple frames and don’t want them all looking exactly alike!
  • A ruler/measuring tape/yardstick/whatever else helps you measure accurately without getting frustrated with yourself when trying not to make mistakes 🙂

Beach Cookie Cutter Pendant Craft Project

This craft is so simple and quick to make, that you’ll want to make more than one!

What You Need.

A cookie-cutter (any shape will do)

Craft foam in the same color as your cookie cutter, or you can use a contrasting color for an interesting effect. You can get craft foam at any craft store. It’s usually sold in sheets that measure about 12″x12″.

If you want bigger pendants, buy two sheets of foam per pendant you want to make so that you get enough for both sides of each pendant.

How To Make It

Cut out the shape from one piece of foam using your cookie cutter as a guide (or trace around it).

The shapes don’t have to be perfect; just keep them close enough in size so that they fit together later when we’re gluing them together! We used a small square shape here but feel free to experiment with other shapes if you’d like something different )

Cut out the second piece of foam using another cookie cutter or other shaped object (we used an upside-down flower here).

Glue together the two pieces by pressing them tightly together on both sides until secure.

Let dry completely before painting
